Not a bad shop but just 1 star because my brother takes me here for no reason, looks around for an hour and leaves with nothing..............good shop
Myself and my 10yr old son had a very frustrating experience with the Smiggle shop in St Albans. My son wanted a Smiggle pencil case for a while, and we drove all the way to St Albans from Kings Langley last Saturday to get one, after checking online that the shop was closing at 18:00pm that day. We arrived at 17:45pm to find the store closed. The manager and an assistant were inside. I knocked the door to inquire why the shop was closed, and they told me they were closing at 17:30pm that day. I showed them my phone with the information on Google that said 18:00pm closing time and they said the closing time had changed. I told them we came all this way and this was not our mistake, and the reply we got was 'sorry'. All the time I was talking with the shop assistant, the manager was standing near her, and she did not have the curtesy to talk to me, never mind offer to assist in any way. I hope the manager of the shop gets her act together, and I sure hope the Smiggle company gets organised and make sure the information they publish is correct at all times. This is about respecting your customers and the time and effort they put reaching your shop and buying your products.

Nothing has a price on! Each time I needed to know how much something was I had to go and find a member of staff. What should have been a five minute hunt for a child's gift turned into 20 minutes of frustration. When you do finally find out how much something is, you realise why they don't openly display their prices. Very expensive. Hopefully I won't ever need to step foot in here again.
