Im completely tea total, but I love coming here. Two or three times a month, I buy gifts covering a range of budgets and nothing is ever too much trouble for Penny.This lady knows wine inside and out and people cannot understand how a non drinker can source such great wine. Im not planning to reveal my source to my friends, but I am truly grateful for all the help and advice so generously given. Nice gift wrap too!

Really nice and fun set up with very good selection of wines, both by the glass and in the shop. Both to experience it there and then, with or without a platter, or to get a bottle or two home. Penny is very knoledgeable and enthusiastic about wine, and you can feel it, which is very nice.
The recent refurb has really improved the premises. Not quite a wine bar yet as well as a shop, but but the wine sampling taps permit tasting a glass of wine a level above your normal purchase price. Worth a visit with a few friends if you haven't done so yet.
A wide selection of high quality wines from all four corners of the globe sold at decent prices with great service. The shop has also recently undergone a refurbishment and looks great. Its now also possible to enjoy a glass using the super modern, self-service vending machine. We'll be going back!
