We loved our spa day!Had a voucher from buyagift for a couple's spa day, it was quiet and relaxing, and the Swedish back massage was amazing.Lovely receptionist, also had a light lunch which was lovely and very reasonable prices.Would definitely go back :)

To set expectations, this is not really a spa, do not book this expecting a Sopwell or Hanbury Manor experience, but you will get a decent treatment. The space is very small, the changing rooms are tiny, you can't swim in the hydro pool, there are only a few tables in a hall way space, which does not cater for half the guests needed, forcing them outside to eat, not great when its been raining and they haven't wiped down the tables and chairs. We ended up leaving and getting lunch elsewhere. But more disappointing then any of that - The spa was not as clean as it should have been, and my husband was given a small dressing gown with holes in it, and women's slippers that were far too small for him. The loungers were filthy, and it was impossible to get a cup of tea or coffee unless you were up for waiting around for half an hour. All in all I didn't find it a very relaxing experience at all.Very nice facial.

We booked a spa day through Buy a gift for a day at the spa for 2 people, 40min treatment each and lunch. The spa facilities are nice, a little tired but clean. Unfortunately the day we went the hydro pool was having maintenance in the morning so we couldn't use it until around lunchtime which really limited what we could do, there is only so much time you can spend in a sauna and steam room. With the pool open it was nice but not a lot to do for a whole day. The treatments were really lovely, I had a back neck and shoulder massage and my therapist was really professional, attentive and experienced. The voucher included a light lunch we could choose from a selection of sanwhiches or salads, we both had a pesto chicken panini which was lovely, but there was no wine (which was supposed to be included). The changing facilities are small and clean, there are no private cubicles (apart from shower and toilet). The relaxation room has a number of loungers/chairs but the cushions looked dirty and stained. The sun terrace was nice but the loungers out there also looked tired and dirty. Overall a nice place for a relaxing day. I wouldn't recommend for large groups and if you are a regular spa-goer this may not be the place for you. But I would go again if I got another good deal.

Dirty loungers, Torn towels, Freezing massage room, coughing and sniffling therapist! Worst experience ever! The 1 hour massage was a gift from a loved on. Got there half an hour early, I was asked to see myself into the relaxation area with my shoes on! When I asked, if I needed to change into indoor footwear, I was told it was okay. Not. Okay. There were people walking barefoot and from hygiene perspective, not okay. That would also explain the dirty and hairy loungers in the area. No hot drinks or water or anything offered before the treatment. From having visited in the past, I know they are available, so I just walked up and asked for tea after 15 minutes of waiting. But this is just bad service. Was seen into the massage room on time. The massage bed had a 'Torn Towel' for me to lie down on....like properly torn at multiple places. The room was freezing. For 1 hour I kept complaining about my hands and feet being cold. The therapist tried but could not turn the temperature up or stop the freezing cold air from blasting directly on me. At one point, I actually got up to walk out, before I got sick. The poor woman got upset thinking it will come on her, and asked me stay. Not her fault, but lady, switch off the freakin fan on the AC next time.In addition, the therapist had a cold. Sniffling and coughing. Really, she should not have been at work.I have been to the Spa a couple of times before and never have I felt so mad. After an hour of Swedish Massage, I am more worked up and mad than I was when I went in. On pointing these things out, I was offered a 20% discount and a call from the manager later. NOT RELAXING!

Very friendly staff and the pool and saunas downstairs were nice. The back massage and head massage were good too. It's a shame that the upstairs loungers were dirty and the terrace could have also been cleaner especially the tables. The sandwiches did not look very appetizing and it is hard to get through to anyone when phoning in the afternoon or evening.
