Wonderful garden and gift centre, along with a restaurant. It was my first visit today and went along with three members of my family for lunch. The food was really yummy and we all chose the chicken casserole which was only 12 for two people. Apple crumble for dessert. All the food was fresh, hot and tasty. Apart from the lunch, we had a wonder around the lovely gift department which had some delightful, well chosen stock with a wide choice. We also had a walk around the extremely extensive, outdoor, garden centre, which had a superb range of plants, including flowers, shrubs and trees and also lovely garden furniture and ornaments. There is also a department which caters to all your pets needs, as well as wonderful bird feeders, bird tables and bird baths, along with a great variety of bird food, to care for our lovely, wild, feathered friends . I was SOOOO impressed with Notcutts and to top it all, the staff were fantastic. Greeted with smiles in every department and everyone extremely helpful. It's so nice that friendly, warm, places like this still exist. Well done Notcutts. 5 BIG FAT GOLD STARS
Notcutts Santas grotto - very well organised and great santa and elf. We have come here the last 2 years and each time been very impressed - only a short wait and so well run - the elf lady and Santa were both great. Thank you
As garden centres go, this is good, but don't stop for refreshments or a bit to eat. The staff are so slow. The woman on the till takes your order, while a gormless person stands behinds and waits to be told what drink to make . If anyone in the cafeteria had brains they would be dangerous The all lack common sense and the food is slow to come out, thats if they have it and .. Help us all if the till says "NO", the woman on the till just stands there arghhhhh. Big big changes needed
Fantastic new Christmas display. All you need and more , Christmas hall is full of exciting items like upside down trees and Champaign Christmas Outside there are gorgeous plants for Autumn and gardening ideas. In the pets section there is an excellent range of goodies for all your pets.
I brought my elderly clients here to have a afternoon out, and lunch.. the moment I walked in the door, to the planning process, to the lunch to the end was more than 5! Absolutley nothing was too much for anyone. They made the whole day run smooth with all the help and planning. I cant thank the staff enough. Amazing!! X
