One of my favourite pubs in St Albans. Lots of areas to sit in including some nice sofas by the fireplace. Loads of games available. Friendly staff and nice beers.
Great pub no young people here which is nice for me as am in late 50's also great music once a month that's the only time I go here great dances to which am not but there again I may have learnt a few new moves time will tell if you like the soul and the funk get down there
Huge fifteenth century former coaching house. Lots of rooms with a circular central bar. Good selection of well-kept real ales.Always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. Lots of board games to play and an ideal place for large groups.The walled beer garden is well equipped and is a very pleasant sun trap!
Excellent pub for football and if you like something different to all the other local pubs
Wanted to make a booking but after ringing for 2 solid days they never picked up the phone, so we went to the hare in Hounds instead - party of 10
