I took my bike in for a service (Circa 100), when I arrived to collect it the tyre was flat and I had to wait for new tube to be fitted. When I finally got the bike on the road, I had another flat within 30mins, I walked the bike to Harpenden cycles who advised me the tyre was too worn, not roadworthy and needed replacing. Another 40 later, I was back on the road (these things happen). When I called the owner of BC Cycles to let him know about my experience he was flippant, rude and arrogant. 'What do you want me to do about it...' not what I would expect from a small local business.

This is a GREAT bike shop! Mike and the team are friendly, and knowledgable on all aspects of bikes and give spot on and impartial advice if you're looking to buy a bike or accessories. Really wide range of accessories, all of good quality. For those of you who still insist on getting your bike serviced at Halfords...DON'T - these guys are technically brilliant and both times my bike has been in for maintenance the work has been done to a great standard with the bike running as sweet as new. Thanks guys!
Knowledgeable and approachable staff, topped of by brilliant customer service. Only downside is that they are incredibly popular (and rightly so!). Will definitely be back again.
