Decent place to fix a bike, not the cheapest but cheap doesn't always mean good. Been using their services for around 1 year.
Tired of the up-tight attitude in this place. The tall guy from far up The A1 deserves particular contempt and should be avoided. From here on, I'm passing by and spending my cash where customers are respected.
Cool looking shop with approachable, helpful staff and good coffee!!!I put my bike in for a service and was called the same day to say it needed additional parts on top of the service, I was offered 2 quotes for repair (1 with like for like parts and a 2nd cheeper option), I was assured that I wouldn't notice too much difference from the original parts if I opted for the cheeper option! When I got the bike back it rode like new, I'm so happy with the work done and would definitely recommend this shop, the mechanic is good and very knowledgeable, and to top that he also saved me money.
Great service. Great prices. So good that my whole family get their bikes from here everytime. The people in there really know their stuff and you can always sit and talk to them. I managed to buckle both wheels and bend my derailleur hanger whilst needing a large list of other new parts. And i've got to say, they did a brilliant job of fixing up my bike and for a very cheap price considering I needed a new front wheel, a straightened back wheel, A new derailleur hanger, regreased headset bearings and a new front disc break.... Overall, I really love this bike shop and I recommend that people buy their bikes and get their services done here.
Popped in with a mechanical on a long ride up north. The mechanic quickly spotted I'd clamped my bar bag on to my gear cable and helped me out despite being stacked with work. He basically saved the ride - highly recommended! ; )
