Excellent facilities / friendly staff and love being a member for last year!
Awful, went in to sign a cancellation form, found out a few months later I was still being charged through direct debit, asked for the payments to be refunded and got little response, was eventually put through to the manager who was unresponsive and unhelpful.
This morning I went for a swim. I was joined by a family of 2 large men with 3 children who are apparently regular guests at the hotel. They were noisy and swam into me repeatedly, trying to intimidate me, until I eventually gave up and left the pool. Another couple also left the pool as they were struggling with their behaviour too!As I sat in the jacuzzi I saw one of the men signal to one of the children to get my goggles from a chair by the pool, I shouted for him to put them down & the adult just laughed. This was a potential theft of my property! I didnt complain to the young man in reception because I was actually worried about his safety if he intervened. This is the 3rd time I have encountered this family and it is not acceptable to feel intimidated and frightened when you use the club swimming pool. I did mention this problem to the manager on the 1st occasion but clearly nothing was done. This club is sliding downhill fast!!!!!
Unfortunately, this gym has dramatically gone down hill over the last 2 years. Ive been a member for over 7 years and its clear to see the investment in the gym has become practically non-existent. Equipment is often broken and its taken over 2 months for them to fix the sliding enterence doors. Lastly, the staff are so disengaged and leadership weak! Needs a real shake up!
