Gym and Spa are wonderful! Shame their sales and admin let them down! Extremely unprofessional, unorganised, and never answer the phone or have team on hand to deal with queries.
Good club, equipment is in decent condition. I am used to South African gyms and this is small and cramped in comparison. But compared to other clubs around the U.K. i think its pretty good. Monthly membership includes access to all gyms in the country and the membership is really cheap.
The baby pool is of appropriate depth, and is lovely and warm, as warm as a bath. My 2 year-old grandson loves it - the slide and the water spouts, and being able to play independently. The teaching pool is also warm enough for babies. At weekends the baby pool is incredibly busy and one time staff had to ask people to leave as it was over-crowded. Weekdays, especially in the morning it is quiet and a more pleasant experience. Changing rooms are clean and well-maintained.
This review is about kids' birthday party in the centre. We used the cafe inside (CRUSSH cafe) and absolutely ruin the fun and supposedly stress and hassle free party for our young one. Very poor coordination and communication. Our experience was witnessed and shared by 11 parents of kids who joined my child's wall climbing birthday party. With that, those parents and us have concluded that the cafe does not add value neither contributed to fun party experience the leisure centre has been promoting. We filed a complain/feedback to Crussh, and we would like Westminster Leisure Centre to be aware of this. (we tried to send feedback to leisure centre's website but we could not write any comment, the website just gave us options to give ratings/stars/smiley faces).
Great leisure centre. Nice swimming pool but the most important thing... water temperature is 28C which is actually pleasant to get in. Decent size gym. Good classes choice and lots of other things to do in offer. There's shop as well to buy swimming costume etc. And cafe with good food and prices. Nice climbing wall.
