I went for a health check today and the team were friendly and helpful. They checked over the car before I dropped it off and got me to sign to confirm the state of the car. When I returned I had to wait for my report to be done however it was worth the wait. I got a detailed explanation and a report to take away with me. Plus I was emailed a video report. This is really good service, better than I have experienced from any other car service centre. John helped me today and I found him very professional, friendly and helpful. I appreciated this as I had my daughter with me and it had been a stressful day. Not to mention that I had a bit of a rubbish experience up to this point after buying my Nissan. It felt like they really care about providing a good service today. I havent seen my car in daylight yet but generally I had a positive experience.

Got my Car serviced everything was fine except they recommended me to replace my back box because the flamp was seized. All it needed was a bit of W-40 to lubricate it. Instead they wanted me to buy a whole new back box. Just money grabbing people. Avoid at all costs and take your car to An independent mechanic who go the extra mile for you.

Took my Qashqai there and told them what was wrong with it according to two different mechanics. As the work involved opening the engine I wanted it done by Nissan. Instead, they made me pay a few hundred pounds for symptomatic treatment and they put the diagnostic I gave them in a note as a possibility in case the problem happens again. Of course it happened again and when I took it back there they said they can't do anything about it apart from replacing the whole engine with a new one. What didn't you say that from the start? Because you want to get as much money as possible from your customer instead of giving them the advise that is best for them and their budget. Now my car has been perfectly fixed by an excellent independent mechanic for around a thousand pound. I prefer if I had put those few hundreds toward this but it's too late now. Never again I promise. I don't know if all Nissan representatives are the same but Glyn Hopkin St Albans is definitely to be avoided.
