Similar to it's sister pub, The Boot, this place is very popular, great beers and wines, good service from staff and with a top class dining offering. Often crowded and rarely any seats for 60% of those just drinking. Still definitely worth a visit.
Great boutique bar (with a restaurant tucked away at the back) which I think used to be The Albany a few years back. Staff are really knowledgeable serving your more specialist beers and spirits. (Don't expect to see your Becks, Buds or Bacardi here) Had a gorgeous spiced rum and you can even sample the beers before buy!! Very friendly clientele. It's quite a small venue and it gets busy very quick.
Very good food here. The chips with beef and stilton starter is really good I could eat a main portion of it. Decent rotating keg beer selection too.
Stopped here for some food. Staff were attentive and helpful. Food was of very good quality.
